Diablo 3 Patch 1.7 PvP Changes and My Personal Diablo 3 Story

Patch 1.7 currently on the PTR brings many promises to everyone who has been patient from the release of Diablo 3. Here are my thoughts on the patch, the game and my Diablo 3 story.

The abysmal failure of Blizzard with the release of Diablo 3 left me curious. I always wondered if the game would get better to the point of being worthy of the title. For being so overly hyped for profitability, fun, and the new hot game of the decade; I was left with disappointment time and time again.

Best Diablo 3 Class for Inferno

I haven’t wrote a post in a LONG TIME… Ever since the release of the game, I’ve either been playing it nonstop or have been trying to recover from the marathon. I’ve logged at least 275 hours in about 3 and a half weeks. I have 5x level 60′s across several account.

PvP Futurist Theorycrafting Frenzy

PvP has been a widely discussed topic in the Diablo 3 community. Most players are enthusiastic about the potential the game has when PvP content is released. I’m one of these people and I’d love to see them shift gears towards a competitive, arena styled system in the mix of other PvP scenarios. I talked about my views on this in more detail on my post about Diablo 3 PvP. In this post I will be discussing my theories of future possibilities if the PvP system were to evolve.

The Power to Choose

I often hear people talking and speculating about the difficulty of Diablo 3 saying, ” How hard will Diablo 3 be?  How fast will people hit 60? What will Inferno be like?” Diablo 3 has 4x acts and 4x difficulties, meaning it can be broken into 16 stages of progression. This allows a great deal of room for variety. Suppose for a minute you were given the ability to make the game as hard as you wanted. How difficult would you make Diablo 3 if you had the power to choose?

Multiboxing – BIG Possibilities

Multiboxing is perhaps the financially gifted gamer’s solution for the pursuit of fame, fortune and a greater challenge on a particular title. Controlling multiple characters and attempting to do what other people do in groups seems enticing to most hardcore gamers. Coordinating up to even 50 characters is not an impossible feat; it’s been done in World of Warcraft.

Yes it’s a bit extreme and unnecessary, but taking down 40 people in a competitive game by yourself seems like a tempting way to tickle your ego.

PvP and Potential Holes in End Game

Like I’ve stated before I’m a huge Diablo fan and moreover a fan of all Blizzard games in general because this company delivers! There’s a lot of complainers out there and frankly I’m tired of hearing the same shit. I’m not here to address a lot of petty things like “oh shit I’m lagging, this quest is bugging, my character is stuck, my fps sucks, the lighting isn’t good enough, the game isn’t as fun as WoW, I’m not aroused nearly enough, blah blah blah”. I’m here to address real causes that I foresee will make or break the game in the end whether Blizzard addresses them at some point or ignores them.
