Patch 1.7 currently on the PTR brings many promises to everyone who has been patient from the release of Diablo 3. Here are my thoughts on the patch, the game and my Diablo 3 story.
The abysmal failure of Blizzard with the release of Diablo 3 left me curious. I always wondered if the game would get better to the point of being worthy of the title. For being so overly hyped for profitability, fun, and the new hot game of the decade; I was left with disappointment time and time again.
The Monk is one of the best classes in Diablo 3. Currently it is my favorite class. Moreover, I believe it’s capable of being the most cost-effective character in the game if built right.
Here is my baddass monk guide for Diablo 3. It’s aimed at being an efficient AOE and single target killing machine with No Monster Power or low MP. My monk can handle ~mp7 depending on the monster type, but it took a bit of extra cash to get him there.

Be as Efficient as POSSIBLE
There are 2 ways to farm in Diablo 3. Gold Find or GF and Magic find or MF. I have done both and suggest magic finding. The best Diablo 3 magic find spots can be amazing if you get lucky. You make a more consistent income gold finding, but can hit the lottery magic finding. I have found several items worth over 15 million gold. I have also farmed with 300% base gold finding gear and have made up to 600k an hour.
I haven’t wrote a post in a LONG TIME… Ever since the release of the game, I’ve either been playing it nonstop or have been trying to recover from the marathon. I’ve logged at least 275 hours in about 3 and a half weeks. I have 5x level 60′s across several account.

A lot of people underestimate the potential of a built in real money system in Diablo 3. People have made a good deal of money in games without any direct system. This Diablo 3 real money auction house system opens up a new world of potential.
The Past Reveals Answers
PvP has been a widely discussed topic in the Diablo 3 community. Most players are enthusiastic about the potential the game has when PvP content is released. I’m one of these people and I’d love to see them shift gears towards a competitive, arena styled system in the mix of other PvP scenarios. I talked about my views on this in more detail on my post about Diablo 3 PvP. In this post I will be discussing my theories of future possibilities if the PvP system were to evolve.
The moments before Diablo 3 is released, noobs and pros alike will be swarming the gates. Once people step foot in Sanctuary the sand in the hourglass starts pouring. The sand in the hourglass stands for the time you have before a highly profitable initial opportunity for the real money auction house starts declining at an accelerated rate.
The Rat Race
There are over 30x item affixes in Diablo 3. It’s one of the beauties of the game. The randomized magic properties generally make or break any particular item. There’s all sorts of times for example: +damage bonuses , +life from healthglobes, +magic find, chance on hit to X and the list goes on and on.

Blizzard will be implementing the feature to sell characters in Diablo 3 on the real money auction house. Note that it won’t be included with the release of the game. As long as it is added in the game within a reasonable amount of time; I see it being highly profitable. There are a lot of approaches you can take to capitalize on this system. I’m already drooling over what could be gained from it.
